FEA - Finite Element Analysis

FEA

What is FEA?

FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is a numerical technique to solve complex engineering analysis problems. FEA is used to break a complicated structure into smaller elements which can mathematically described using numerical computing techniques and all elements are assembled into a big matrix of algebraic equations. This matrix is solved by computer. Finally, the solution is obtained according to the engineer's requirements.

FEA is used to solve for stress, displacement, temperature, voltage of structural and non-structural problems in various industries such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, and defense

How does simulation technology improve the design process?

For companies that want to be the best in the industry, simulation software is an invaluable tool, even in the early stages of product development. Simulation technology provides design engineers with the right tools, the right hardware at the right time to make better decisions. The end results? Better products, lower costs, and faster time-to-market.
